Thank you for visiting the virtual home of Berean Baptist Church in Council Grove, Kansas.
Since our church was planted more than 55 years ago there have been many changes in our country, our community and our Church. There are a couple of things that haven’t changed, however, and never will. Those are our PURPOSE: To be a help and a blessing to all those who choose to honor us by their attendance—whether a visitor or a member; and our PREACHING: We preach the BLOOD (Jesus Christ provided salvation by shedding His precious blood on the cross), the BOOK (The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and has all the answers to life’s problems), and the BLESSED HOPE (someday Christ will return in the clouds to call His redeemed to heaven). If you are searching for a church home—whether you are new to the area or a long-time resident—I want to personally invite you to Smoky Hill. Berean Baptist Church exists to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have or where you are on your spiritual journey, our church is a place where you’ll find the grace, mercy, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.
